The registration process for MDCAT 2023 is as follows:

Step 1: MDCAT Registration

  1. Visit the official MDCAT registration portal.
  2. Enter your email address on the portal and click on the “Register” button.

Step 2: Application Form

  1. Fill out the application form with personal and academic information.
  2. Upload the following documents:
    • Passport-size latest photograph with a blue or white background.
    • CNIC/B-Form/NICOP or Passport.

Step 3: Fee Challan

  1. After saving the application form, a fee challan will be generated.
  2. Print the fee challan and deposit the fee in any branch of HBL, ABL, or MCB in cash before 2nd June 2023. The fee amount is Rs. 6000.
  3. Scan and attach the paid copy of the fee challan to your MDCAT portal account.

Step 4: Final Submission

  1. Double-check all the entered information.
  2. Click the “Final Submit” button to submit your application.

Step 5: Exam Scheduling

  1. From 20th July to 25th July, log in to the PMC Exam Account.
  2. Schedule your MDCAT exam based on the available slots.
  3. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Step 6: MDCAT Syllabus

  1. Download the MDCAT syllabus to prepare for the exam.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the paper pattern and topics.

Choice of Center for MDCAT Registration

When registering for MDCAT, candidates must select one of the cities listed below as their preferred exam center. However, depending on seating capacity, the exam authorities reserve the right to assign candidates to nearby cities if necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

1-Pre-Medical Group Requirement

As per the admission regulations, candidates must have passed the intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or an equivalent examination. The Pre-Medical Group includes subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, which form the foundation for medical education. This academic background ensures that candidates have the necessary knowledge and understanding of the scientific principles that underpin medical studies.

2-Minimum Percentage of Marks

Candidates applying for MDCAT 2023 must have a minimum of 70% unadjusted marks in their intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group examination. The unadjusted marks refer to the total marks obtained by the candidate without any weightage or additional factors. This criterion emphasizes the importance of maintaining academic standards and selecting candidates with a strong academic foundation for medical education.

3-Eligibility for Candidates Awaiting Results

The admission regulations also allow candidates who are awaiting their intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group examination results to apply for MDCAT 2023. Such candidates must submit their result as soon as it becomes available and fulfill the minimum percentage of marks requirement. This provision enables candidates to begin the application process and secure their place in the admission cycle while awaiting their results

Q9: In which bank can I pay the challan?
