MDCAT 2024-25 [Instructions before the Test]

MDCAT shall conduct on Sunday, 10th September. The exam shall start at exactly 10:00 A.M. and conclude at 01:30 P.M. All candidates should follow the time schedule and must reach their centers before the designated time.

For guidance of the candidates, the following instructions are being issued:

Entry into the Test Centre

(i) The centres shall open for candidates at 08:00 A.M. and shall be closed/sealed at 09:00 A.M. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the centre after that. All candidates are advised to identify exact location of their centres a day earlier.

Candidates are required to bring documents with them before going to the test centers for MDCAT.

(ii) The candidates must bring with them:
(a) Original CNIC/NICOP/JC/Passport/B-Form (Photocopies are not acceptable). Please bring the same document with which you registered for MDCAT-2024-25;
(b) A print-outs of Admittance Card issued by the University;
(c) A clean and transparent clip board with nothing written on it;
(d) Two blue ball point pens (not pointers, markers, pencils, gel pens, ink pens, etc.);
(e) A small (500 ml) transparent bottle of drinking water.
Note: A candidate who fails to bring Original CNIC/NICOP/JC/Passport/B-Form and print-out of his/her Admittance Card shall not be allowed to appear in the test. Candidates who have some sort of mistake in their name, father’s name, CNIC number or photograph because of wrong entry at the time of registration, they must bring with them an original Photo ID (e.g., CNIC/Passport/Matriculation Certificate, etc.).

Prohibited items in Test Centres

(iii) The entry into the test centres with the following items is strictly prohibited with penalty of immediate removal of the candidate from the centre and cancellation of paper: Mobile Phone, Calculator, Books or Notes, Weapons or Arms, Bags, Electronic Devices such as Smart and Digital Watches (Analog watch is allowed), Headphones, Bluetooth, Metallic Pens, and other Personal Belongings, etc.
(iv) No facility shall be provided at the centres for keeping any personal belongings of the candidates
such as mobile phones, etc.

Before Attempting the Test

On receipt of the MCQ Response Form (Answer Sheet) and the Question Paper, the candidate should
carefully read the instructions printed on them and accordingly fill his/her Roll Number, enter his/her
particulars and put his/her signatures on the Response Form and at the upper right corner of the first
page of Question Paper

Attendance ( MDCAT )

The candidate must sign twice on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place, first time immediately after the commencement of examination and second time while handing over the upper coloured sheet
of response form and the first page of the question paper to the invigilator.

Rough Work

Rough work must be done on the blank page provided in the Question Paper for the purpose.

At the End of the Test

The candidate shall first return the upper, coloured sheet of Response Form and then the first page of the Question Paper to the invigilation staff and take the lower, carbonized sheet and Question Paper with him / her.

Important

1.Candidates must strictly follow these instructions. Candidates not complying with the instructions
shall be summarily disqualified.

2.Candidates are sternly warned not to resort to any unfair /fraudulent means or cunning stratagem of impersonation during the exam. In case a candidate is found taking course to such acts / stratagem, his/her candidature shall be revoked ab-initio. He/she shall be debarred from appearing in the Test in future and criminal prosecution shall also be initiated against such candidate.

How to Enter Your Question Paper ID/Code:

(i) There shall be Question Paper with different Codes/IDs (e.g., A, B, C, or D) in which the questions and their responses are shuffled.
(ii) The Question Paper code of each candidate is printed on the first page of his/her Question Paper booklet.
(iii) The candidates are only required to fill the correct circle in the Response Form against the first row of circles marked as “ID” as indicated in the figure.
(iv) Failure to fill the ID properly as per the instructions shall lead to incorrect evaluation of the Response Form for which the University shall not be held responsible.

MCQ Response Form

(i) The candidate shall answer the test by filling the circles on the upper coloured sheet with a blue
ball point pen only. The impression of the circle filled on the upper sheet will be automatically
transferred to the lower carbonized sheet.
(ii) The candidate is NOT allowed to detach the two sheets of response form before the test is over.
(iii) Response Form once issued shall not be changed on account of any mistake of the candidate.
(iv) Use blue ball point pen only to fill the appropriate circle on the Response Form.
(v) Candidates must not mark answers on the Question Paper
