FORMAT OF UHS-UGAT-2024:
UHS Undergraduate Admission Test (UGAT) -2024 shall consist of a single paper consisting of 100 MCOs, divided into the following four sections:
- English-25 MCQs
- Biology-25 MCQs
- Chemistry- 25 MCQs
- Physics- 25 MCQs
Time allowed for the test is two hours. The test shall start at 10:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, 4th August 2024.
How to Apply Online
Step 1: Go to the online application portal: Link
Step 2: Check your eligibility (If you have 60% or above marks in HSSC Part-l/equivalent exam, you can proceed with your application otherwise not).
Step 3: Fill in the application form with required information (personal details, qualifications, etc.).
Step 4: On initial submission, a password will be generated, and it will send to your e-mail address. You can now Log-in with the help of this password.
Step 5: Determine the Order of Preference for the programs as per your choice.
Step 6: Before final submission of your application, create a challan of an application processing fee of Rs.3500/ (Non-refundable). You can submit the fee through this challan at the nearest branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP) before the deadline of application submission. Paid challan slip must be uploaded on the online application portal.
Step 7: Upload the required document (Max. Size: 1 Mb/each document) as mentioned on the application portal.
Step 8: Verify the filled information and attachments
Step 9: Make the final submission of your application form. After final submission, a confirmation email will be sent on your e-mail address. Please note that the application shall not be editable after final submission.
Merit Calculation Formula
The merit for admission will be calculated based on the following weightage criteria:
- SSC/Equivalent: 10%
- HSSC Pre-Medical Part-I/Equivalent: 40%
- UHS-UGAT-2024: 50%
Important Points (Must Read)
- Incomplete applications or those submitted in violation of the prescribed procedure shall be rejected.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to submit a correct and complete application with all mandatory documents as stipulated on the application form within the assigned timeline.
- Candidates awaiting HSSC Part-II results can apply based on their Part-I results, but confirmation of admission is subject to the provision of complete HSSC Pre-Medical exam results (Part-I and Part-II) or equivalent.
- Provisional admission of candidates who fail to score a minimum of 60% marks in HSSC Pre-Medical or equivalent exam will be canceled.
- After the submission of the online application, the candidate is not required to submit a printout of the application to the University. Admission shall be granted on an open merit basis only.
- Those having foreign qualifications (A-Level, 12th Grade, etc.) must upload an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.
- Transport facility from City Campus to Jinnah Campus Kala Shah Kaku is available for students free of cost.
